Friday’s Threesome 24 October

The idea of these challenges is to use the given prompts to create a piece of flash fiction (100-200 words) or a poem (14-20 lines). Word and line counts are a guideline only let your muse dictate.

The challenge today offers three quotations to inspire the creative muse, using one, two or all three as a prompt.

The quotations for this week are:

  1. He has not learned the lesson of life who does not every day surmount a fear – Ralph Waldo Emerson
  2. I think that wherever your journey takes you, there are new gods waiting there, with divine patience — and laughter – Susan M Watkins
  3. Beauty in art is often nothing but ugliness subdued – Jean Rostand
