Friday’s Threesome 8 August

The idea of these challenges is to use the given prompts to create a piece of flash fiction (100-200 words) or a poem (14-20 lines). Word and line counts are a guideline only let your muse dictate.

The challenge today offers three quotations to inspire the creative muse, using one, two or all three as a prompt.

The quotations for this week are:

  • Whatever deceives men seems to produce a magical enchantment – Plato
  • Show me the books he loves and I shall know the man far better than through mortal friends – Dawn Adams
  • Let me make the superstitions of a nation and I care not who makes its laws or its songs either – Mark Twain
