Friday’s Threesome 18 July

The idea of these challenges is to use the given prompts to create a piece of flash fiction (100-200 words) or a poem (14-20 lines). Word and line counts are a guideline only let your muse dictate.

The challenge today offers three quotations to inspire the creative muse, using one, two or all three as a prompt.

The quotations for this week are:

  • The praise that comes from love does not make us vain, but more humble – Sir James M Barrie
  • Great intellects are sceptical – Friedrich Nietzsche
  • I say, break the law – Henry David Thoreau
